SETUP AND RULES:
EACH CONTESTANT GETS FOUR ARROW. THEY GET ONE PRATICE SHOT AND THREE COMPETITION SHOTS. EACH GROUP WILL COMPETE AS: CHAMPIONS, APOSTLE, DICIPLES AND JR. CENTURIONS.
THE WINNERS WILL BE DECIDED BY POINTS. YELLOW: 100 PTS. RED 75 PTS., BLUE 50 PTS., BLACK 25PTS. IN CASE OF AN OVERALL TIE THERE WILL SHOOTOFF.
AIR RIFLE
SETUP AND RULES:
EACH CONTESTANT WILL BE ALLOWED 10 SHOTS. THE WINNERS WILL BE DECIDED BY HIGHTEST POINTS. PER NUMBERS ON TARGET. CENTER TARGET = 10 PTS. THE ASSIGNED LEADER MUST SIGN THE TARGET. NO ONE SHOULD ATTAIN THEIR TARGET UNTIL INSTRUCTED BY THE LEADER.
OBSTACLE COURSE
NUMBER NEEDED FROM EACH TEAM: 3
THIS IS A TIMED EVENT
THE FIRST PARTICIPATNT WILL LEAVE FROM THE STARTING LINE. HE MUST COMPLETE EACH OBSTACLE IN HIS WAY. HE MUST COMPLETE ONE CHALLENGE IN THE OBSTACLE COURSE (BUILD A FIRE, KNOT BOARD, OR VERSE SCRAMBLER). WHEN DONE HE MUST PASS OFF THE WRIST BAND TO HIS PARTNER WHO MUST REPEAT THE PROCESS.
THE EVENT IS DONE WHEN ALL THREE CONTESTANTS HAVE COMPLETED THE OBSTACLE COURSE AND EVENTS.
TUG – OF - WAR
THIS IS A GROUP EVENT. EACH CHURCH PRESENT WILL HAVE ONE BOYS TEAM.
SETUP AND RULES :
A Tug-of-War contest will be held between two (2) opposing teams. Each team will represent a different church, and will consist of teams not weighing more than 500 pounds, regardless of the size of the contestants. This will allow even the smallest participating group to compete with the largest participating group. WE WILL USE SCALES TO WEIGH THE CONTESTANT.
It will be up to the individual leader's discretion as to which contestants should be on his team.
There will be only one team representing a church. oNCE a team has been selected, the same boys/MEN must participate in each successive tug. unless an injury occurs OR PARTICIPATING AGAINST A LARGER GROUP in which case a new boy/MAN OF SAME WEIGHT CAN BE Inserted.
This contest is not conducted by age, but rather by church or group.
Tie a piece of tape or string in the center of the 50’ rope. Lay the rope on the ground. Place the two (2) traffic cones eighteen (18) inches apart in parallel to the rope. Have the two (2) teams involved take hold of the rope on opposing ends and take up all slack. Ensure that the ribbon is centered between the traffic cones. On command, each team will attempt to pull the other team until the ribbon passes the traffic cone closest to them. The team that pulls the other past the traffic cone is the winner. All teams will continue to pull until a team with no or the fewest loses can be declared the winner. THERE IS NO SECOND OR THIRD PLACE WINNERS AWARD FOR THIS EVENT.
This event is our prized event. The winner will possess a trophy and be crowned TUG-OF-WAR campion for the state for one year. The trophy will be returned at the next years event. In circumstances where a group cannot return the following year then the trophy must still be returned.
TOM-A-HAWK

EACH CONTESTANT WILL BE GIVEN 4 TOMAHAWKS. THEY WILL GET ONE PRATICE THROW. AT THE INSTRUCTION OF THE LEADER THE CONTESTANTS WILL THOW.

WHEEL BARREL RACE
NO OF CONTESTANTS: 6
EACH CONTESTANT MUST PAIR UP. ONE MUST GET INTO THE WHEEL BARREL WHILE THE OTHER PUSHES THROUGH THE “CONSTRUCTION ZONE”. GROUP WITH THE FASTEST TIME WINS.
